IMPACT(tm) QUAD PAD

from Arthron, Inc.
800-758-5633
www.sportsinjuries.com

Arthron's new IMPACT(tm) Quad Pad is designed to protect players following thigh bruises.

The Quad Pad, like Arthron's other pads, was developed by a certified athletic trainer and relies on a patented "dome" design that rests over but not on injured areas. The dome's shield deflects blows away from the injury, protecting the quadriceps and enabling players to return to action sooner, without fear of reinjury.

The one-size-fits-all Quad Pad is durable enough to be reused year after year. Yet it can also be custom-shaped by immersing in hot water or a Hydrocollator(r).

Other IMPACT(tm) pads are designed for shoulder separations, upper-arm contusions and hip pointers. "For years, IMPACT(tm) Pads have provided great protection for our players, plus they are very adaptable and easy to use," says Steve Antonopulos, the Denver Broncos' Head Athletic Trainer. "I highly recommend them." Air-Release Shoulder Pads

from Gear 2000785-625-6060

Gear 2000 Ultra-GEAR line of air-release football shoulder pads combine the best of traditional air management systems with GEAR 2000 Super Air Release technology, which has been on the market for several years. The line includes models for quarterbacks, running backs, defensive backs, tight ends, linebackers, and linemen. Design features include "Pad-Forward" design that won't allow the pads to "ride up", Secur-A-Strap non-stretch straps that hold the pads securely to the body and eliminate stretch, patented Front Lock Stabilizer prevents collapse and maximizes sternum protection.

Speed Training

from SpeedScience.com
www.speedscience.com

Coaches, are you looking to increase team speed? The most effective and efficient approach for improving the speed and quickness of your players is by improving their running biomechanics and techniques. While strength training, plyometrics, and increasing flexibility are needed to improve speed, players will not get faster unless they learn to start, run, and change direction using correct techniques. At Speed Science, we offer both video analysis and clinics to teach your players how to start faster and run faster. After analyzing foot and ankle mechanics, hip, back and pelvis position, knee and arm movements, stride rate, stride length, and starting and speed-maintenance mechanics, we teach each athlete the training approaches he needs to improve his specific biomechanical techniques. Using these approaches, we have had tremendous success in increasing the first step quickness and 10, 20, and 40-yard dash speed of high school and college athletes.
