American Football Monthly just completed its first annual salary survey among college coaches throughout the country. All levels of coaches were included – Division I-A, I-AA, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College – as well as all coordinators and position coaches on staff. The results were tabulated from the 860 questionnaires with a response rate of 30% and will appear in AFM over the next six issues.
This month’s salary survey focuses on head coaches, offensive coordinators, defensive coordinators, and special teams coordinators. In addition to actual compensation, results are also included relative to other responsibilities for coaches as well as their tenure as a coach. The results are below:
