We are looking for more creative ways to beat man coverage schemes. We have successfully used a pick or rub with the WR and slot but looking for other ways of beating man coverage.

I'm an offensive coordinator for a high school in Portland, Oregon which runs the "Fly." I'm thinking about putting in a new wrinkle by adding the single wing formation and possibly a series off that formation. I have a single wing book, but I was looking for someone to bounce some ideas off of.

This Fall we will be playing a team with a Georgia Southern type of offense with a tremendous QB. We are basically a man to man defense with an 8 man front. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop their attack?

We had a great season last year. We were one game from the state championship until we ran into a team that ran the georgia southern type offense. What is the best defense to stop the mid-line option, and why? This time we want to be better prepared.
