Hello, I have been coaching Pop Warner Football in MO for the past 3 years. I am looking to expand my knowledge of X's and O's. I read many articles about offensive and defensive sets I just do not understand all the terminology.
My experience playing football is limited to High School. I have been out of H.S. for 20 years. I Love this game. I have
only recently discovered my ability to teach basics to my players. I feel I owe it to them to teach them terms and sets they will hear as they move into School ball and beyond.
Any pointers or recommendations are greatly appreciated

Hi I am 20 years old, and have 3 years coaching high school. This last year I was the D.C. for the Frosh team we went 5-1 and were scored on an average of 13.5. I do not do very well in school, my question is how do I get to coaching in College or the Pros without finishing school and getting my degree.

Hi, I am a senior in high school and I am going to go to college to be a football coach. I have never played football, but yet I know a lot about football and ever since I have been able to watch football on TV i have wanted to be a Def. Cord. for a professional team. How hard do you think it would be to get to that position? I know it will more than likely take many years but i am willing to do whatever it takes. Also, How long would you say it takes to get to that level?

We have ben very successful running the Hugh Wyatt Double Wing until we get to our quarter-final or semi-final levels. At that point we struggle with our basics that have gotten us that far. I need info on related offenses that operate from a spread look that can open some running lanes.

I am 19 and I am a sophomore at Ohio State. I am in the education program here. I played varsity football in high school my freshman and sophomore years before sustaining a football ending injury. I stayed with the team my junior and senior year to coach, as well as in the summer and early fall before I start college (we start late September). I wanted to get on as a graduate assistant at the college I am at for graduate school. My question to other coaches is whether or not they would accept a graduate assistant who hadn't played college ball? Is it hard to get on as a college or high school coach without playing college ball? Any info or stories would be appreciated.
