Hey Guys, Thanks for your help so far. Your input has been greatly appreciated and helpful. One more favor, I need some new inside/outside zone drills for footwork, technique, blitz pickup, and combo blocks. Basically, I want the whole shootin' match boys! We've been running a zone concept since I started coaching 6 years ago and have had a lot of success. My problem is we've been teaching it the same way for 6 years with little variation in our style and I worry it may get stale. I'm not trying to revolutionize the game, I just want a few more drills to add a little flavor to practice. The kids are taught the same stuff from the time they start in modified football. That's 6 years for some of these kids. Any more help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Again, Sean T. I am looking for help in defending the Wing-t and option attacks from a Under/ Over type package. I am also looking for things that people like to do with the game planning and philosophy of when they like to go call different things on defense. I am also looking for any playbvook material on the Stoops brothers. Thanks for the help. Andy Guyon Defensive Coordinator Weaver High school We've been an I formation, zone team for a couple of years because we've had huge, experienced linemen. In the next few years we will be small, and next year we'll also be inexperienced up front. I am considering the Wyatt double wing because as I look toward the future it doesn't appear that we'll have a lot of size any time soon to continue runnning the zone scheme. Any DW coaches out there able to tell me what to expect the first year? Are there any books, articles, video tapes constructed by Hal Mumme or Mike Leach detailing their pass offense they have used at the schools they have coached at? 2 Questions; What is the best program for diagraming plays and putting together playbook, Also; theres got to be away to make highlight tapes without spending $5,000.00 on editing system. If I have digital camera and tape decks isn't there away to get it done. Which digital camera do you think is best for money? I am interested in Nebraska's robber coverage. This I believe involves the corners playing man to man the strong safety free( no pass responcibility) and the free safety is free to help on deep coverage. I need help on motion especially vs wing t. If any one can give me any info re: keys alignment etc I would be gratefull Having not played football: 1 - how much 'makeup time and experience' is needed before one can be considered for a starting position, 2 - what positions will most likely be obtained, and 3 - what are the most effective ways to gain experience in the coaching field? (I am going to college for a coaching minor with an education major, reading/studying books and film, is there anything missing?) Thank you for all advice, Steven Slater
