Terry Hoeppner
(1947-2007)

Football coaches are judged by the number of wins and losses on their record. But the real judgment is based on the lives a coach touches. Terry Hoeppner was an assistant high school coach, Head Coach at Franklin College, on the staff and then Head Coach at Miami University and then Head Coach at Indiana. A football coach for more than three and a half decades, we estimate he influenced the lives of about 1,875* players.

That, in itself, is the true measure of a coach.
