From 1964 to 1988, the name Dooley was synonymous with Georgia football. Despite flirtations with other schools, most notably his alma mater Auburn in the 70's, Dooley remained top Dawg for 25 seasons and led UGA to 201 victories. During his career, he won 6 conference titles and numerous coach of the year awards.
